La vidéo Gemini : TEHNIKHEN (jumeaux·elles) présente une performance basée sur le thème astrologique de l’artiste, les Gémeaux, signe du zodiaque représenté par des jumeaux·elles. Prenant la forme d’une cérémonie dans laquelle Lindsay Katsitsakatste Delaronde cherche à se rapprocher de ses origines, la performance fait appel à des gestes qui incarnent la dualité et qui mènent au dédoublement de l’artiste et à sa fusion avec l’environnement. Gemini évoque la convergence du corps et du territoire en explorant les notions de filiation et d’intimité, de la côte de l’océan Pacifique, où Lindsay réside, jusqu’aux rives du Saint-Laurent, territoire de ses ancêtres.

Gemini: TEHNIKHEN (twins)

The video Gemini: TEHNIKHEN (twins) presents a performance based on the artist’s astrological sign, Gemini, represented by twins. Taking the form of a ceremony in which Lindsay Katsitsakatste Delaronde seeks to reconnect with her origins, the performance uses gestures that embody duality, leading to the artist’s doubling and fusion with the environment. Gemini evokes the convergence of body and land by exploring ideas of kinship and intimacy, from the Pacific coast where Lindsay lives to the shores of the St. Lawrence, the land of her ancestors.
