La Manifestation JE/US 2025 tire son inspiration des nombreux gestes d’échange qui nourrissent les relations et les existences, du mycélium au corail, de l’abeille à l’être humain. Axée autour des diverses facettes de la réciprocité qui caractérisent les dynamiques propres aux écosystèmes naturels et sociaux, la programmation explore les interactions, les rapports d’appartenance et d’interdépendance ainsi que les dissonances et les états chaotiques qui rendent un milieu vivant.

Les expositions, les performances, les installations éphémères et les projets participatifs présentés invitent à réfléchir aux différents modes de cohabitation, à la préservation et la réhabilitation du territoire, à l’intimité, à l’impermanence et à la mobilisation collective. Engageant les sens et la pensée, les œuvres examinent les relations entre le tissu urbain et l’environnement fluvial qui le borde et offrent une variété de perspectives sur les sensibilités humaines et non humaines.

Ensemble, les artistes font écho aux espaces de réciprocité dont regorge Karonhiatsi'kowahne/Longueuil, en plus de forger de nouvelles relations avec ses écosystèmes. À travers l’enchevêtrement d’expressions matérielles et de réflexions esthétiques, poétiques et philosophiques, JE/US 2025 propose une expérience alliant arts visuels, arts vivants et projets communautaires et mettant en lumière les interconnexions tout autant que les irrégularités inhérentes aux notions d’échange et de partage.

Manifestation JE/US 2025 draws its inspiration from the many acts of exchange that nourish relationships and lives, from mycelium to coral, from bees to human beings. Focusing on the multiple facets of reciprocity that shape the dynamics of both natural and social ecosystems, the program explores interactions, the sense of belonging and interdependence, as well as the dissonances and chaotic states that keep an environment alive.

The exhibitions, performances, temporary installations and participatory projects invite us to reflect on different ways of living together; on preservation and rehabilitation of the land; on intimacy, impermanence and collective action. Engaging both the senses and the mind, the works examine the connections between the urban fabric and the bordering river environment, offering diverse perspectives on human and non-human sensibilities.

Collectively, the artists echo the spaces of reciprocity that abound in Karonhiatsi'kowahne/Longueuil, while forging new relationships with its ecosystems. Through an interweaving of material expressions and aesthetic, poetic and philosophical reflections, JE/US 2025 offers an experience that brings together visual arts, performing arts and community projects, highlighting not only interconnections but also the irregularities inherent to the notions of exchange and sharing.
